Becoming A Mother For The Second Time

If you are a first-time mother, you may think that becoming a mother for the second time will not be as exciting. You may think that nothing will live up to the feeling of holding your firstborn in your arms for the first time.

A mother knows how to give of herself, hang out and fall head over heels in love from the first glance. She feeds, comforts, cleans and cuddles with her baby. She sleeps the baby and holds it in her arms.

It is true that mothers of two young children often feel exhausted or, in the worst case, even depressed. But every mother of two  knows that she is a lucky woman. She gets to enjoy two smiles, two voices, two ways to play and live life. Two different people see her as the world’s best mother.

Being a mother of two can seem impossible: looking after the children and oneself, the home, the work and all other responsibilities.

Only someone who has experienced what it is like to raise two young children knows how much juggling and ingenuity is required  to cope with all the tasks that life throws in our way daily.

Mothers who become mothers for the second time must undoubtedly learn to conjure:

• Dinner is always ready on time,  even if it only took a few minutes to cook.
• It does not matter if the mother spent the whole day with her little one in her arms; only she is able to get everything in order  so that others have clean clothes, a full bottle and packed backpacks.
• She seems to have more than 24 hours in her day. In a single day, a mother of two can work as hard as anyone else, but still find time to wipe away tears, cuddle, play and go down to the floor to comfort her jealous firstborn.

When nature gives a woman the gift of becoming a mother for the second time, she gets a chance to relive all the good parts of the first pregnancy and birth.

She feels an incredible sense of confirmation from these memories. She knows that she is about to experience the greatest happiness of all.

If you with your first child discovered a reason to live, be happy, grow as a person and fight for your and the child’s dreams, you with two children will have a double reason.
